Does anyone know of the renaissance/medieval shop in Montreal’s Old Port?

I stumbled across it a couple of years ago before I lived in Montreal, and now I’ve gone back to Old Port to try and find it, but I can’t. It might be more towards downtown than right in Old Port – I can’t remember. As far as I can remember it had renaissance/medieval Costumes and weapons, and I would really like to be able to find it again…. and I haven’t been able to find it through the search engine.

I remember seeing a medieval shop on St-Denis street in Montreal…don’t not really remember one in Montreal’s Old Port.

I just did a google search on “medieval clothing montreal”, and click on the first result. http://www.cangothfash.com/gothic.htm
And then went to the Quebec section…

They list a shop called “Excalibor” with two locations:
1- 122 St.Paul E. [which is located in Montreal's Old Port]
2- 4400 St-Denis

The name does ring a bell and I have been to the one on the St-Denis Street before.

Well, I just did a 411 search on these addresses and business’ name and I can’t seem to find anything. http://www.411.ca

All that sell vaguely Victorian-style Clothes?

I love vintage clothes, but it is difficult or very expensive. Or I have to order it online, and generally I do not have money in the bank haha. Have you seen any beautiful sweaters for sale? Or shoes? I I die a old-fashioned boots. I've actually seen a couple of Victoria, but are too expensive and I will be afraid to use them. So I think that the modern shoes have to do haha.

Your best bet is to go to small shops or perhaps gothic shops, which do such things. There are a few at that time, the street if you like your eyes. This limited military jacket with Asda the other day, oddly enough, it was quite a Victorian look, there's a lot of boots, buckles and buttons through the sides – a pair of New Look – if you go with the glory of him looks really good.
