Can anyone help me with a childs petticoat/crinoline pattern?

Anyone have any ideas for a petticoat pattern for child?
My granddaughter has decided she wants to be ‘Christine’ from Phantom of the Opera for Halloween (she’s 4 yrs old and her Mom is a major Phantom fan) and she asked me to make her Costume. I am using http://www.butterick.com/item/B4320.htm?… view ‘D’ and adding long sleeves to it. (Halloween in Ohio can be either 70 degrees or 35) Obviously this dress needs a crinoline or petticoat under it to give the “poofy” effect she wants but I have yet to find a good pattern. The only thing close is a $35 vintage one – no way am I paying that much just for a pattern! I bought the fabric at A J Wright = king sized bed sheets in pink with embroidered hems to the flat sheet and cases that will be used on the sleeves, ’scarf’ and a ruffle added to the bottom.

any ideas on how to make a hommade stethoscope for a child’s doctor halloween Costume?

need some honest real help with this one. I bought my four year old son his costume. He wanted to be a doctor, but a stethoscope did not come in the bag. he really wants one.

you can take an old pair of headphones that done work, yank out the cord and just use some blue tape/grey tape to cover it then do a cord out of it and then you can cut a circle out of cardboard and tape that to the tape cord.

Shirt for School Girl Costume?

I have just about everything I need for my school girl costume for Halloween this year, except the socks and a shirt. I’m just not sure where to find a good one or what looks right or not. I think I want something that I can tie in the front. Would this work?

I think the Old Navy one because the others are too fitted at the bottom-you won’t be able to tie it up.

Why not ask a boy you like if you can borrow his? Great chance to flirt and plus you can make a point of letting him see you in his shirt looking all sexy.
