Does anyone have any good, inexpensive ideas for couples halloween Costumes?

Were having a halloween party and we want to have costumes that go together but would rather not buy them, they can be expensive. Does anyone have any inexpensive ideas?

Go to your local thrift store and check out the Clothes! You can find everything from king and queen of the disco to k&q of the rodeo!
You can get an old ladies house dress that will fit your hubby and find a grey wig put pink curlers in it, use small beach balls or water balloons to give him a saggy old lady chest! you can put them in a t-shirt and just have him tuck it in to his pants that way they will sit down on his waist! And you can dress up as an old man you can get a balding head wig for about $10, baggy polyester pants and suspenders or a wild color polyester leisure suit at the thrift store.
We have hit the thrift stores, before the regular stores, for years and usually end up with stuff for great costumes. One year my son got a 3 piece pinstripe suit for $8 and went as a gangster, his gf got a dress that looked like a flapper for $4 and we added some beaded trim and feather spent a total of $15 on her dress and they were the cuteste gangster and his moll you have ever seen! They won best Costume, actually they won 2yrs in a row, and in thrift store finds!

Help with a Halloween Costume!!! Please!!?

For halloween I am being a go go girl. I already have the boots so i just need the dress, but the problem is that a lot of costume stores sell it with the boots or are to short and tight and a lot are way to overpriced. I need a go go girl dress that is $25 the most and is not too inapropriate. I am only 11, but dont find a childrens costume. I no this a lot to ask for, but remember if you win you get ten points!!! My man was raised in England (where they don’t have Thankdsgiving) so he never dressed like pilgrims and indians in elementary school. So, I decided we are gonna dress up this year. And he chose indians over pilgrims….

start easy… moccasins are available at any souvenir store, maybe even cracker barrel! maybe the local thrift store has a pair or two.

burlap makes a good simulated paper bag material, and it breathes too, nice and cool. colored feathers shouldn’t be too hard to track down, get a visor cap to fasten them to. beads can be attached to the burlap, or worn as a necklace. and any makeup job with mascara (use the chicago black hawk logo as a model) will make you brave… or a lil’ papoose if you wish.
